10 Bar [10 Rue de Odeon, 6th] [M° Odeon] [+33 (0)1 43 26 66 83] [Bar][]
An absolutely wonderful sangria bar in Paris. A must visit. No user comments: Add

France is not known for its ice cream, but this shop is quite good; the best in Paris, in fact. No user comments: Add

My second favorite Italian place in Paris. No user comments: Add
Chez Maître Paul [12 rue Monsieur-Le-Prince, 6th] [M° Odeon] [+33 (0)1 43 54 74 59] [French][]
A solid place with good service (and not just for France), I would recommend the salmon or the chicken in yellow wine with morels. No user comments: Add
Debauve et Gallais [30 rue des Saints Peres, 7th] [M° St-Germain-des-Pres] [+33 (0)1 45 48 54 67] [Chocolate][]
Perhaps it is sufficient to say that I have been to both their locations? I would warn, however, that they are better at the simpler stuff. In turn, they are very good at the simple stuff. How could they not after having over two hundred years to perfect their art! No user comments: Add
Gérard Mulot [76 rue de Seine, 6th] [M° Mabillon] [+33 (0)1 43 26 85 77] [Pastries, Bread][]
The best baker in Paris. I prefer the almond croissants at Le Bon Panneton, but otherwise this one is king. No user comments: Add
L'altro [16 rue du Dragon, 6th] [M° Saint-Germain-des-Pres] [Italian][]
L'altro is my favorite Italian restaurant in Paris. I have been there twice, braught several friends, and no one has ever been disappointed. They serve elegant yet simplistic dishes. I would recommend that you order one of their specialties and not some of the simpler pasta dishes No user comments: Add
Ladurèe [21 rue Bonaparte, 6th] [M° St-Germain-des-Pres] [+33 (0)1 44 07 64 87] [Chocolate, Brunch, Pastries, Dessert][]
Laduree makes the best pastries in town (this is Paris, mind you) as well as selling the best jam in town. People complain the its pricey, which of course it is, but I still think it's resonable when you consider the price of desserts at restaurants. Laduree is famous for their macaroons, but I recommend trying the pasty-as-art instead. Oh, and their milkshake is divine (as is the divin)! No user comments: Add
Le Bistro Champetre [107 rue Saint-Charles, 15th] [M° Charles Michels] [+33 (0)1 45 77 85 06] [French][]
It's curious how fate works: the first decent restaurant I went to in Paris remains one of my favorites. Perhaps it is nostalgia, or the convenience of being close to my apartment, but I always leave with a smile on my face. The two and three course meals are good deals, so explore what the menu has to offer. No user comments: Add
Le Bon Panneton [105 rue Saint-Charles, 15th] [M° Charles Michels] [Pastries, Bread][]
In my experience, this is the second-best baker in Paris, only beaten by Gerard Mulot; they do have the best almond croissant in Paris though. No user comments: Add
Peter Beier [62 rue Monsieur le Prince, 7th] [M° Cluny-La Sorbonne] [+33 (0)1 43 54 06 06] [Chocolate][]
Excellent Danish chocolatier near Luxembourg Gardens. And since they are Danish, they excel at the marzipan-related delights. I am saddened to report that they seemed to have reduced the variety lately, however, which has removed a few of my favorites. No user comments: Add
Pho Mui [97 Avenue d'Ivry, 13th] [M° Tolbiac] [+33 (0)1 45 83 70 68] [Vietnamese][]
Wonderful Vietnamese in Paris at predictably low prices. I used to go here every Sunday for lunch. I suggest you try one of their teas. No user comments: Add
Séraphin [5 rue Mabillon, 6th] [M° Mabillon] [+33 (0)1 56 24 41 00] [French][]
A wonderful restaurant near Marché Saint-Germain: cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and delicious dishes. Eat here, and head to Rue Guisarde/Rue Princesse/Rue de Canettes afterwards for a successful evening. No user comments: Add
