Alma de Cuba [1623 Walnut St] [215-988-1799] [Cuban][]
Sadly I do not recall what I had for a main dish, but I do remember that it was an explosion of tastes. Given my experience at Alma, I am rather surprised that Cuban cooking is not more widespread. The chocolate cigars [sic] simply must be experienced. The cigars were made of different types of chocolate and the matches were made out of pure sugar -- it looked awesome and tasted even better. Wonderful atmosphere right on Rittenhouse Square - great for a lazy brunch on a warm summer weekend. Solid fare albeit not very inventive. No user comments: Add
